"As a Christian therapist, I essentially provide a confidential and safe environment to explore each persons specific reasons for seeking counseling. You may be experiencing difficulties with relationships, struggling with events from the past or be at a place life where you desire change and greater satisfaction. My treatment methods are selected based on the individual's presenting needs, assessment data and evidence-based practices. I utilize a strength-based approach, commonly using cognitive and behavioral therapeutic modalities, skills training, and education. A person needing empathy and support at the time of their need will find me to be encouraging.
My passion is in working with individuals and couples with relational issues, relational issues with family members, at work, or social relationships. I also delight in working with individuals with adoption/adoptee issues, parenting concerns and immigrant/ refugee concerns. I have passion helping couples dealing with miscarriage /childlessness and runaway children. I encourage the people seeking help to incorporate their faith in their recovery process. Those who wish to incorporate biblical scriptures and prayer in their journey to healing are encouraged to do so. At times of great difficulties some people have found faith to be very instrumental in their move to victory."
