About:
"I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and works with individuals, couples and families. I offer scripturally sound, faith-based counseling from a safe, non-judgmental place of hope. I believe in God's grace as a healing balm and I believe that when we understand ourselves and His Word from a grace-filled perspective, we open opportunities for ourselves to desire a closer walk with the Lord and the safety of knowing His ways and following Him. I pray for all of my clients daily and I ask the Holy Spirit to guide my work.
I work with and respect all denominations. In addition to a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I also have been trained in Internal Family Systems in Boston. I have training in Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy from the Ackerman Institute in Manhattan as well as training in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute. I am skilled in two different trauma modalities and I utilize all of these models to customize the sessions to meet my clients' needs."
